The Cyprus Olympians Association (ΚΕΣΟΑ) held a meeting with the President of the Democratic Party (ΔΗΚΟ) Mr. Nicholas Papadopoulos, and the Deputy Chair, Ms. Christiana Erotokritou, as part of its ongoing engagement with institutional stakeholders.

ΚΕΣΟΑ was represented by its President, Mr. Costas Papacostas, OLY, its General Secretary, Mr. Panikos Evripidou, OLY and Board Member Mr. Spyros Agrotis, OLY.

During the meeting, the Association’s delegation briefed the leadership of the Democratic Party (ΔΗΚΟ) on its work, activities and objectives, as well as on issues concerning Cypriot Olympians. The delegation also presented copies of ΚΕΣΟΑ’s publications, which document Cyprus’ history in the Olympic Games and the achievements of Cypriot athletes who have participated in them.

Mr. Papadopoulos expressed his personal interest in and longstanding support for the men and women who represent Cyprus at the Olympic Games. He noted that both he and the Democratic Party (ΔΗΚΟ) will continue to stand by Cypriot Olympians, recognising their contribution and the sacrifices they make for their country.

ΚΕΣΟΑ continues its dialogue with all institutional stakeholders, with the aim of supporting and strengthening Cypriot Olympians.
