On 4 November 2026, Costas Papacostas OLY, President of the Cyprus Olympians Association (Κ.Ε.Σ.Ο.Α.), visited Frederick University as a guest speaker, following an invitation from the Department of Physical Education and Sport.

Drawing on his extensive knowledge and years of experience in sport, he engaged with students on the principles of Fair Play, the importance of sportsmanship and the challenges facing today’s global sporting landscape.

As Cyprus Olympians, we remain committed to sharing our knowledge, experiences and Olympic values with the next generation, staying true to the Olympic spirit of giving back.

Our sincere thanks to Physical Education lecturer Ms. Elena Avraam and the management of Frederick University for their kind invitation and warm hospitality
