As part of its ongoing efforts to promote international cooperation and the Olympic Values, the Cyprus Olympians Association paid an official visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Nicosia on Thursday, 9 July 2026.<\/p>\n\n
The Cyprus Olympians Association was represented by the Secretary General, Mr Panikos Evripidou, OLY, and Board Member, Mr Spyros Agrotis, OLY, who were received by H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Cyprus, Ms Inna Torgomyan.<\/p>\n\n
During the particularly warm and constructive meeting, the Association’s representatives presented the organisation’s mission and initiatives aimed at promoting the Olympic Values, Fair Play and the education of young people. They also exchanged views on opportunities to develop cooperation between the Olympians of the two countries through joint educational initiatives, exchanges of experience, youth engagement activities and initiatives that promote friendship, solidarity and the Olympic Spirit. <\/p>\n\n
The Cyprus Olympians Association extends its sincere appreciation to H.E. Ambassador Inna Torgomyan for her warm hospitality, her highly positive response and her willingness to support initiatives that strengthen the longstanding bonds of friendship between Cyprus and Armenia through sport and Olympism.<\/p>\n\n
