The conference “Hellenisation of Cyprus Through the Centuries” was successfully completed, an event dedicated to exploring the enduring influence of sports, language, and religion in shaping Hellenic identity. The conference took place on February 21, 2025, at the Cultural Foundation “Archangelos” of the Holy Monastery of Kykkos, co-organized by the Cyprus Olympians Association (Κ.Ε.Σ.Ο.Α.) and the Cyprus Sports Organisation (Κ.Ο.Α.).

It was our honor to have the presence of the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Dr. Athina Michaelidou, the Minister of Public Order, Mr. Marios Hartsiotis, the Ambassador of Greece, Mr. Ioannis Papameletiou, as well as the President of the Cyprus Sports Organization (C.S.O.), Mr. Yiannis Ioannou.

The conference was honored by the presence of representatives from institutional bodies and organizations, including: the Boards of Directors of the Cyprus Sports Organization (C.S.O.) and K.E.S.O.A., former Presidents of the C.S.O., representatives of parliamentary parties, as well as representatives from the Hellenic Force in Cyprus (ELDYK), the National Guard General Staff (GEEF), the Police, sports federations, and physical education institutions.
